Plastic Clever Schools

"An award to reduce waste with students at the heart of the action."

PCS has three stages; Inspire, Investigate, act; to help schools reduce plastic and become more 'plastic clever'.

School council has been working our way through stage 1: Inspire

Some of the children have been involved in a litter pick around Gringley-on-the-Hill. They have all been part of a school-wide assembly discussing some of the problems our world faces as a result of plastic and have thought about how plastic waste affects Gringley and the wider world as well as how the world would improve if plastic pollution was reduced. 

Next step is to conduct a plastic audit of the plastic used around school.
