Football at St. Peter's

The school has two very active and successful football teams, made up of year 5 and 6 pupils; one team of girls and one team of boys.

From September 2023, the girls' team will continue to be coached by Steve Lee and managed by Yvonne Reeson (also the mini-bus driver). Practice takes place from 3:30 pm until 4:30 pm on Mondays, when the light allows.

The boys' team will be coached by Holly Garfoot (Ellis & Flynn's mum). The team will be managed by Mrs Reeson - although in reality, I'm just the driver of the mini-bus! Practice takes place on a Tuesday after school unless it's too dark.

The Girls' Football Team 2022-2023

The boys won Division 6 of the Bassetlaw Schools Football League (Summer 2023).

The organiser, Mark Nunn, kindly came to school to present the trophy to the great surprise of the boys, who didn't know they'd won.

Well done to Lennon, Tommy-Joe, Theo, Oliver W, Oliver C, Ryan, Owen, Harry, Elliot, Sebastian, Elliott (goalie), Zach and Ellis.
