2016 is the first year that the new 2014 National Curriculum has been assessed. Levels are no longer awarded; instead, children are deemed to be working at the expected level for their age, below the expected level or above. 

 

Headlines for Key Stage Two (Year 6)

There were 10 pupils in the Year 6 cohort in 2016 so each child was 'worth' 10%

Combined % of Year 6 pupils achieving a combined expected level in Reading, Writing & Maths: 60%

% of Year 6 children achieving the expected level in reading: 70%

% of Year 6 children achieving the expected level in writing: 60%

% of Year 6 children achieving above the expected level in writing: 10%

% of Year 6 children achieving the expected level in maths: 90%

Year One Phonics Screening Check

57% of the Year 1 children passed the phonic Screening Check

In 2015, the pass rate was 40%
