This year's journey so far:

Bassetlaw Primary Sports in association with School Games

29th September 2023: Cross Country at Retford Oaks Academy

The children ran 0.8 miles. Ella came third in the girls race.

Friday 13th October: The Year 1 children took part in a cricket festival at Retford Oaks Academy.

Thursday 19th October: A team of 12 children from Class 2 took part in a Handball Festival at Retford Oaks Academy.

Friday 17th November: Oliver C, Noah, Oliver W, Zach, Sebastian, Elliot Ella, Ellis, Harry, Theo, Eva and Chloe took part in the orienteering event at Worksop College.

Ella and Oliver C came first overall; Eva and Chloe came second and Ellis and Elliot came third. 

What fantastic results - and we won overall.

Wednesday 22nd November: The Year 2 children went to Retford Gymnastics Club in Torworth and took part in lots of brilliant activities including floorwork and using the large equipment such as the beam, bars and springboard.

Thursday 23rd November: 14 of the Year 3 and 4 children went on a Jingle Jog at Sherwood Pines. We ran 3 kilometres. It was very Christmassy and exhausting!

Monday 4th December: A group of 5 PE superstars took part in a special trampolining session at Retford Oaks Academy.
