Welcome

'Unlocking the gates to a lifelong love of learning and faithfulness'

“Start children off in the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it” Proverbs 22:6

Our Vision

At St Peter’s C of E Primary School, the growth and development of children and adults is central to everything we do. As a church school, we aim to serve and take care of our community by providing an education which inspires every child to be the best they can be. This is within a framework which is rooted in distinctive Christian beliefs and values whilst embracing diversity, respecting other faiths and worshipping together. We encourage an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith and promote Christian values through the experiences we offer to all our school community.

Welcome to the St Peter's C of E Primary and Nursery School website. I hope you find the information helpful and that it gives you a taste of the happy, caring and welcoming school that we are.

St Peter's is a Voluntary Aided school; it represents a partnership between Nottinghamshire County Council and the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham. The school has very good links with the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul's in the village and has a strong Christian ethos.

We hope you will take advantage of the opportunities throughout the year to visit the school on occasions such as concerts, class assemblies, learning walks/workshops, sports days and Parents, Teachers and Friends Association functions, as well as the parent-teacher consultation evenings.

All of the information that is included on our website is available as a paper copy from the School Office. Please speak to myself or Mrs Howitt in the office if you have any such requirements. I am usually at the school gate at the start and end of the school day so I'm very easy to find.

If you are considering our school for your child/ren, please contact the school to arrange a visit. I will be delighted to show you around and give you the opportunity to meet our children and members of staff.
